As the Director of People Systems, you will lead AlphaSense’s global People technology strategy and serve as the functional owner of Workday to support our hyper-growth. Your mission is to ensure our systems—from our core HRIS to our performance and compensation tools—are scalable, integrated, and provide a frictionless experience for our 2,500+ global employees.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute the People technology roadmap and strategy
Act as the global functional owner for Workday, develop and execute a strategy to optimize it, and ensure seamless integrations with downstream systems
Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and adoption of new tools to support AlphaSense’s growth and maturation
Partner across the People team to design and execute people processes (e.g., performance management, compensation, benefits, absence/leaves, employee engagement)
Ensure our systems establish a single source of truth by prioritizing data integrity and consistency
Partner with the People Operations team to audit workflows and increase efficiency, automation, predictability, consistency, and audit-readiness of our processes
Partner with our Payroll team on the implementation and consolidation of global payroll systems
Lead the HR systems integration during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless merging of disparate HR systems, databases, and processes
Develop systems and tools to provide robust reporting and data insights
Lead, grow, and develop a team as the organization continues through a period of hyper-growth
Collaborate with IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to data security, privacy, document retention, and compliance across the organization
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in HR systems, People Technology, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Accomplished People/HR systems and reporting professional with a proven track record working with Workday, Greenhouse, and Payroll systems
Experience defining and improving systems and scalable processes for a global workforce of 3,000+ employees
Leader of leaders with the ability to inspire, grow, develop, and coach a team
Thrives in fast-paced, rapidly growing organizations
Strong communicator with the ability to drive organizational change through partnership with operational and business leadership
Detail-oriented and have experience managing large, global, enterprise-wide system implementations
Pragmatic and thoughtful business partner who understands the importance of teamwork and collaboration
Skilled storyteller with the ability to turn quantitative data into a qualitative tale
DEI champion and know how to use data to drive strategy
Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Legal teams
