Job Description:

Strategic business leader responsible for the property's Rooms department, ensuring brand standards, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance while developing and implementing departmental strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Functions as strategic business leader of property's Rooms department
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating quality of property's rooms
Develops and implements departmental strategies
Ensures implementation of brand service strategy and brand initiatives
Ensures Rooms operations meet brand standards
Targets customer needs
Ensures employee satisfaction
Focuses on growing revenues
Maximizes financial performance of department
Develops property-wide strategies that deliver products and services
Champions brand's service vision
Communicates departmental goals
Monitors and promotes room rates, specials, and promotions
Analyzes service issues and identifies trends
Reviews and audits expenses
Monitors sales performance against budget
Coaches operations team
Demonstrates key drivers of guest satisfaction
Reviews guest feedback
Coordinates and communicates event details
Responds to guest problems and complaints
Interviews and hires employees
Conducts performance reviews

Requirements:

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
