Job Description:

Director of Loss Prevention position at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman managing security operations, protecting property assets, employees and guests, ensuring safety and security compliance, and leading loss prevention teams in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Manage security/loss prevention operations daily
Protect property assets, employees, guests and property
Accident and fire prevention and response
Ensure all areas of property are safe and secure
Maintain logs, certifications and documents
Improve guest and employee satisfaction
Develop and maintain working relationship with local law enforcement authorities
Develop and implement emergency procedures
Conduct investigations of property losses
Deploy security staff effectively
Conduct periodic patrols of property and parking areas
Handle complaints and resolve conflicts
Implement risk control action plans
Lead security teams and provide guidance
Ensure exceptional customer service
Conduct human resources activities including performance appraisals

Requirements:

5 years managerial experience in security/loss prevention or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED
Experience in working with a multicultural team
Ability to work under various working conditions and stress while maintaining a professional and calm personality
Strong desire to deliver outstanding customer service
Understanding of safety procedures, protocols and various safety rules & laws
Great analytical skills and an eye for details
Experience with Emergency Responses and Procedures
Knowledge on Fire, life safety
Ability to design and execute emergency and evacuation plan

Nice to have:

Experience in luxury hospitality industry
