Job Description:

The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the property General Manager and be an integral member of the property executive committee. Contributes a high level of human resource generalist knowledge and expertise for a designated property. Accountable for talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, performance management and development for property employees.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the Human Resources Strategy
  • Executing and following-up on engagement survey related activities
  • Champions and builds talent management ranks
  • Translates business priorities into property Human Resources strategies
  • Implements and sustains Human Resources initiatives
  • Coordinates human capital review process
  • Leads succession planning activities
  • Creates value through proactive approaches
  • Monitors effective use of myHR by property managers
  • Leads and participates in succession management and workforce planning
  • Serves as key change manager for initiatives
  • Attends owners meetings as member of property executive committee
  • Supervises Human Resources staff
  • Managing Staffing and Recruitment Process
  • Analyzing open positions
  • Serving as coach and expert facilitator of selection and interviewing process
  • Developing staffing strategy
  • Managing Employee Compensation Strategy
  • Leading planning of hourly employee total compensation strategy
  • Managing Staff Development Activities
  • Ensuring completion of duties of Human Resources staff

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 4 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
  • Experience in talent acquisition
  • Experience in succession/workforce planning
  • Experience in performance management and development
  • Ability to develop processes to accomplish business objectives
  • Experience utilizing Human Resource Business Plan aligned with property and brand strategies
