Job Description:

Functions as the strategic business leader of the property’s food and beverage/culinary operation, including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service, and Banquets/Catering. Oversees departmental strategies to align with brand standards and ensure optimal operational and financial performance. Focused on meeting customer expectations, employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and return on investment.

Job Responsibility:

Sets expectations and holds food and beverage leadership team accountable
Reviews financial reports and statements
Makes recommendations for CAPEX funding
Works with food and beverage leadership to improve financial performance
Develops and manages Food and Beverage budget
Monitors sales to ensure revenue goals are met
Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead and encourage others
Achieves and exceeds performance goals
Ensures regular on-going communication with the team
Develops an aligned food and beverage operating strategy
Provides guidance and feedback to employees
Hires and coaches food and beverage team members
Analyzes and solves issues proactively

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
6 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area
Customer and Personal Service knowledge
Management of Financial Resources knowledge
Administration and Management knowledge
Applied Business Knowledge
Management of Material Resources knowledge
