Job Description:

A forward-thinking Fire Consultancy is seeking a dynamic Director of Fire Engineering to lead their South West London office. This exciting senior role offers the opportunity to influence the future direction of a rapidly expanding organisation that values innovation, technical excellence, and strategic growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships
  • Drive business development to secure new opportunities
  • Manage, grow, and mentor the London Fire Engineering team
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations
  • Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the team
  • Lead client-facing meetings with confidence and expertise

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Fire Engineer
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards it
  • Degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of team management experience
  • Proficiency with FREAWs (PAS 9980)
  • Extensive experience in the residential and commercial sectors
  • Proven business development skills and experience securing new business
