Job Description:

This role supports the Senior Director of Commercial during transitions and focuses on driving top-line revenue, RevPAR Index performance, and overseeing strategic commercial direction in areas such as Distribution, Marketing, Digital, Loyalty, Sales, and Revenue Strategy. Responsibilities include supporting property teams, crafting sales strategies, managing marketing and budget plans, and optimizing total hotel revenue performance.

Job Responsibility:

Provides expertise and support to above-property regional commercial functions and hotel leaders in the development and execution of the hotel’s commercial plan
Provides input and guidance in the setting of commercial targets, RevPAR and total sales budgets, and other Key Performance Indicators
Ensures effective manning is in place across Revenue, Marketing and Digital disciplines
Provides sales directions for all levels of hotel, group, and catering sales staff
Ensures compliance with Marriott’s Global Distribution Policy and identifies profitable channels
Oversees the property-based Marketing team to deliver on key marketing and brand initiatives
Develops demand generation plans and marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives
Leads revenue strategy review processes and provides guidance on pricing and inventory strategies

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
8+ years’ progressive work experience in the hotel industry with focus on Sales, Revenue or Marketing
Fluent in oral and written communication in Chinese (Mandarin)
Willingness to travel extensively

Nice to have:

Experiences in developing and implementing successful sales, digital and distribution strategies
Strong associate customer and owner relations skills
Strong leadership, analytical, organization, decision-making, problem-solving, consensus building, conflict management, change management, and priority management
High level of integrity and professionalism
