Job Description:

Functions as the strategic business leader of the property's Rooms department, focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance; responsibilities include planning and development of departmental strategies, managing profitability, revenue goals, and enhancing customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Plans, develops, implements and evaluates the quality of property’s rooms
develops and implements departmental strategies
ensures implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives
monitors and promotes room rates, specials, and promotions
develops property-wide strategies to meet guest needs and expectations
analyzes service issues and identifies trends
reviews and audits expenses
monitors sales performance against budget
ensures exceptional customer service
manages and conducts Human Resources activities including interviewing, hiring and conducting performance reviews

Requirements:

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
