To assist manager to coordinate all service and personnel related to the dining room. Supervise and train all dining room employees. Maintain a positive and initiative-taking culture in the dining services department. To interact with residents during their meal to ensure high quality of food and customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate all personnel and service related to the dining room
Supervise and train all dining room employees in correct serving, sanitation, attitude, and rapport with residents
Addresses all resident concerns regarding problems in the dining room and accommodates them accordingly
Maintains a constant presence in the dining room to assure all residents that you care and are aware of what is going on
Assists Dining Room Manager with hiring and training of all dining room personnel
Coordinates room service and to-go orders for residents
Maintains all appropriate records
Conducts daily pre-meal meetings with staff
Keeps Dining Room Manager informed of all dining and kitchen activities
Works with special events coordinator to promote and staff special functions and events
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of computers
Ability to build professional rapport with employees
Previous experience in dining services
Current Food Handlers Card and CPR certification required
Currently has, or has the ability to obtain, a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Nice to have:
Previous supervisory experience
