Digital Presales Solution Architect role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, part of the LAC Solutions Center within the WW Presales organization. The role complements Geos capabilities providing high-value mix of capabilities and resources for solutioning and pricing HPE Portfolios including HPE GreenLake, Operational Services and Managed Services.
Job Responsibility:
Provides support to sales to provide opportunity solution pricing as per expectations
Handles End-to-End pricing solutions in scope for the Solutions Center team
Interacts and collaborates with sales/pursuit teams in Geo/country and works with them to understand the customer requirement and develop pricing quote and SoW for in-pursuit deals
Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions
Understands a broad spectrum of the company's technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements
Identifies the technology solutions needed to fulfill the business objectives of the customer and be able to interact with people (customer and internal HPE) at all levels and geographies
Responsibility can evolve- when applicable-from supporting sales/pursuits on deal solutioning and pricing of an opportunity to managing the opportunity E2E (including customer Interface) without local SA engaged
Applies portfolio knowledge to better support requesters
Requirements:
University degree preferably a Technical Degree (Computer Science, IT Engineering, etc.)
Desired professional experience 2-4 years on the technical field and/or presales
Fluent in written and verbal English and Spanish
Fast learner of technology concepts and understanding the purpose of technologies
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service mind-set
Sense of urgency to manage time properly when answering to customers
Strong teamwork to collaborate and deliver solutions more effectively and document knowledge to share with others
Result-oriented, self-started, able to achieve goals and objectives
Team player, communicative and flexible, quality mind-set
Have very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Proposal and presentation writing skills
Technical background is valued (Knowledge about Servers, virtualization technologies, Storage and Networking) - mandate for E2E solutioning
