Job Description:

The City of Chandler Communications and Public Affairs Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Digital Content Creator for the Mayor and Council Office. The position is scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours.

Job Responsibility:

Develop content for the city's website and social media platforms
Work closely with the PIOs and Video Production staff to produce visual media for communicating with the public
Support various public engagement efforts
Provide administrative, communications, public affairs, and constituent services support to Mayor and Council
Create content for the City's social media platforms through collaboration with City Council and the Mayor

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communications, Digital Media or a related field
3 years of experience in marketing or communications with an emphasis on social media
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
