The IT DevOps Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our DevOps practices and infrastructure. Your primary objective will be to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability across our software development, deployment, and operations processes. The person in this role will not only support global solutions, but also support the process convergence and integration across the Platform and will play a vital role introducing technology innovation to the business in the form of new and enhanced IT services as well as delivering a portfolio of integrated global and regional IT services that enable the business to operate and grow.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of our DevOps practices and infrastructure
  • Drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability across our software development, deployment, and operations processes
  • Support Application teams supporting a robust framework & principles bringing velocity, cost avoidance with a real high quality in line with the Business requirements
  • End to End management of the services delivered by the Platform, including incident, problem, release & change, and service delivery processes
  • Support Service Performance Review governance is followed addressing proper action to re-establish the service when required
  • Identify and manage Risks and Issues, proposing action plans
  • Interact and ensure synchronization/alignment with other Platforms
  • Support and deliver all activities related to DevOps sprints (on time, in full and on budget) from beginning to completion within the Platform
  • Support operational upgrades, migrations, or enhancements while minimizing disruption to platform operations
  • Solve problems relating to mission critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrences
  • Working with Product Owners and service delivery teams to land new capabilities
  • Translate user requirements / user stories into designs and cost estimates

  • Change Request - requirement gathering, stakeholder management, risk assessment, project planning and implementation
  • Support a team of DevOps developers and specialists
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team using agile project delivery methods
  • Support production deployments with vendor partners and support teams
  • Also ensuring compliance to required controls, proactively assessing & managing the risks
  • Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to quickly and completely correct issues with systems and data used to support the Model factory
  • Monitoring the factory operations
  • Establish monitoring and observability practices to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize application and infrastructure resources
  • Implement proactive measures to ensure system availability and reliability
  • Reviewing production schedules and making adjustments to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Giving workers feedback on performance and providing coaching when necessary
  • Overseeing the implementation of new enhancements or processes in order to improve efficiency
  • Meeting customer's expectations and demands
  • Meeting with suppliers to discuss production requirements and delivery schedules
  • Work closely with architecture team to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure resources
  • Leverage platforms and technologies to improve scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency
  • Perform operational audits to determine whether adequate internal controls are in place and related standard operating procedures are implemented consistently
  • Drive and lead IT corporate audits, internal and external audits and handling exceptions and ensure compliance across landscape
  • Plan remediation action for control deficiencies along with market teams and business

Requirements:

  • Experience in a DevOps area, working within a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment
  • Proven, and successful experience leading a DevOps team
  • Working in Project management methodologies such as Scrum, DevOps & Agile practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code as well as security best practices
  • Good managing cross-functional teams related to AM&AD skills
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools for proactive performance monitoring and issue resolution
  • Familiarity with security practices, including infrastructure hardening, vulnerability scanning, and access controls
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Good project management and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of IT governance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot environment-related issues
  • Good expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and CMDB
  • Familiarity with Audit & security controls and best practices for securing IT environments
  • Risk assessment and management: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats
  • Good soft and interpersonal skills related to Leadership, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking, Adaptability and Business Acumen
