Job Description:

The Desktop Support Senior Associate-Field Tech role involves providing onsite support for end users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely ticket resolution. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of Windows OS and A+ certification, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include parts replacement, systems upgrades, and acting as an escalation point for less experienced team members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide onsite support for end users, for tickets and issues at a client site
  • Own the issues through resolution
  • Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks

  • May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions
  • Identify potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and take corrective action
  • Update and resolve tickets in a timely manner to achieve Service Levels
  • Act as an escalation point for less experienced team members

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred
  • Typically requires 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment
  • A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required
  • additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required
  • Ability to physically perform general office requirements
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
