Job Responsibility:

  • Develop the design of metallic/composite/hybrid components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance and production/assembly
  • Evaluate design changes and estimate the implementation effort
  • Check adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capability guidelines
  • Perform monitoring and support of Engineering Sub-contracting companies
  • Support of End-2-End Configuration Items and associated Design Solutions from conceptual studies to check and release of the definition dossier until MOD closure
  • Propose and implement own improvements and innovations in the field of digitalization and automation

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree in Aerospace or comparable
  • Experience in the field of Digitalization and Automation
  • Fundamental understanding of Metal/Composite- and Hybrid Design Principles and design best practices, Manufacturing & Assembly including tolerance principles
  • Toolset experience preferred: PASS SSCI,CATIA V5, VPM, APS, ICC-ACP, Google Workspace
  • Project management fundamentals
