The town of Charlton is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time opening for Deputy Fire Chief.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a fire department with seven years in a full-time supervisory role
  • Completion of Mass Fire Academy Career Recruit Training or equivalent
  • Pro Board Firefighter I and II
  • Valid Mass Class D Drivers license
  • Current Mass EMT Certification
  • Pro Board Hazardous Materials Operations Level Certification
  • NIMS 700 & 800
  • ICS 100,200 and 300
  • Ability to reside within 20 miles of the Charlton town line within 12 month of appointment
