Minimum of 2 years of distribution or manufacturing maintenance experience
Mechanical and industrial skills experience in HVAC, electrical, fire safety and plumbing preferred

Job Responsibility

Perform periodic maintenance, corrective repair, replacement and limited troubleshooting on various facility-related equipment and/or systems
Maintenance and repair of various facility-related equipment and/or systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire safety
Conduct preventive maintenance (PM’s) within manufacturer’s guidelines/specifications and established timelines
Observe and/or test the adjustments, corrective repairs or modifications to ensure safe operation
Log time and materials, maintaining work orders, PMs and inventory tracking into computerized maintenance management system/software
Interpret and understand plans and specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals
Perform required tasks in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, rules, and safety procedures
Repair dock doors and perform rack installations as needed
Assist in performing battery preventative maintenance, battery charger repairs, battery changes for material handling equipment (MHE), repair of plugs and tips of batteries and chargers, watering and washing batteries, acid spill cleanup, etc.
Assist in performing forklift and conveyor preventative maintenance

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast paced industrial or warehouse environment delivering maintenance service to power equipment, consisting of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components preferred

Additional course work or on-job training in mechanical, electrical, welding, controls of HVAC
Must be able to read and follow service manuals, assembly drawings, schematics in either print or digital form
The ability to productively navigate basic computer applications is expected

Job Responsibility

Provide prompt professional service to ensure distribution center assets are being maintained, and a safe working environment procured
Capture all associated time and parts into the CMMS program to maintain record keeping integrity for part’s inventory and man-hour reporting
Deliver a broad variety of preventative and corrective repair service to all assets of the facility, not limited to the conveyor system, forklift, various power equipment, industrial batteries, dock equipment, racking system, lighting and HVAC
Observe machine systems for proper and safe operation
repair and communicate accordingly
Perform service measures in accordance with vendor specified procedures, adhering to all safety protocols
Prioritize duties based on level of impact and business need
Share experience and teaching of others to develop a stronger team
Meet compliance with lock out / tag out (LOTO) and Arc Flash guidelines at all times
