Job Description:

The company is actively growing, and with it, the number of services and databases is increasing. This brings higher demands for fault tolerance, monitoring, and automation. The team is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of databases in production, deploying new environments, and implementing modern approaches to database administration. We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to help scale our infrastructure and improve its reliability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of PostgreSQL clusters
  • Deploy new database instances and clusters
  • Set up and maintain high availability (HA) solutions
  • Implement and maintain backup and recovery processes
  • Automate routine tasks and integrate database management utilities
  • Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve them

Requirements:

  • Team management experience
  • Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration
  • Proficiency in Linux
  • Experience with Bash and Python for scripting
  • Understanding of high availability and backup principles
  • Experience with database monitoring and performance analysis

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
  • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence
