Job Responsibility

Centre Leadership -Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the centre is welcoming, safe, and well-managed
Client Engagement - Support clients through a mix of social, wellness, and fitness-focused programs
Event & Program Coordination - Plan and deliver engaging activities such as group fitness sessions, morning teas, and health-focused events
Community Outreach - Build relationships with local GPs, businesses and community groups to promote our centre and virtual services
Group Class Support - Use your PT experience to assist Exercise Physiologists with fun, functional movement sessions

experience supporting elderly people with dementia and/or adults with learning difficulties in a social care setting
Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards)
a strong caring nature to support others to live an enriched life and fulfil their potential
effective communication and the ability to influence others
a working knowledge and understanding of the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice
flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as required
access to your own car and happy to use this for transporting people we support to and from activities as well as obtaining business insurance for your vehicle for which we pay 45p per mile to cover this

Job Responsibility

responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of an elderly-care day centre focused on dementia
may also be required to manage supported living and sessional support services for adults with learning disabilities in the area
provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to provide quality, person centred support to the people we support
enjoy building positive relationships with all stakeholders and put our vision and values into action
carry out frequent reviews of the support requirements provided, including service delivery plans, support plans, progress log and risk assessments following the principles and practices of person-centred and relationship-centred Active Support
manage a team of support workers with responsibility for all aspects of team management and development as well as encouraging and coaching them to creatively problem solve and develop
focus on achieving the highest levels of support and independence for the people we support to make everyday remarkable
