Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing scalable data solutions, ensuring the integrity and security of databases while enhancing reporting capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that streamline data infrastructure and optimize performance.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and implement a scalable Power BI framework tailored to organizational data needs
analyze existing data systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
create universal reporting models to standardize and improve data presentation across the organization
transition legacy systems, such as Crystal reports, into Power BI architecture to enhance usability and efficiency
implement robust data governance and security measures to ensure compliance and data integrity
provide training and documentation to staff, facilitating knowledge transfer and best practices
continuously monitor and optimize database performance to improve scalability and reliability
develop advanced reporting tools, including caseload management reports, within the Power BI framework
collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate siloed data sources into unified systems
establish standards, procedures, and guidelines for database management and reporting processes.

Requirements:

Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI, including design and development
proficiency in database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
strong knowledge of data governance and database security protocols
skilled in transitioning legacy reporting systems to modern platforms
ability to analyze and optimize complex data workflows and infrastructure
excellent documentation, communication, and training skills
familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to data reporting
proven track record in implementing scalable database solutions and reporting frameworks.
