Job Description:

The Data Visualisation Associate Partner You are responsible for the hands-on configuration, building, and maintenance of our ThoughtSpot environment. Working directly under the Data Visualisation Partner, you will turn data requirements into functional "Liveboards," conducting the granular data testing required to ensure total accuracy, and providing day-to-day support to internal and external users to ensure they can access the insights they need.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute the technical build of ThoughtSpot Worksheets and Liveboards, ensuring visualisation types and user interfaces are intuitive and aligned with design specifications
  • Conduct rigorous, granular Quality Assurance on all dashboards, writing and running SQL queries to validate front-end numbers against raw database tables before they reach the review stage
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides, ensuring that every data product has a clear instruction manual for end-users
  • Act as the first line of support for dashboard users, troubleshooting access issues, data discrepancies, or functionality questions in a timely manner
  • Monitor data freshness and pipeline health daily, flagging interruptions to the Data Engineering team to minimize downtime for clients
  • Assist in the translation of data, working with the Partner to map raw data fields to business-friendly metrics within the visualisation platform
  • Manage ad-hoc analysis requests, building temporary views or permanent liveboards
  • Support the training strategy by preparing training materials and occasionally co-hosting sessions to upskill internal teams on new features
  • Implement design updates based on feedback, ensuring consistent branding and UX standards are applied across the entire dashboard portfolio

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Data Visualisation tools (ThoughtSpot is preferred, but experience in Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker Studio is transferable)
  • Solid SQL skills (ability to write SELECT statements with JOINS and WHERE clauses to validate data)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc., for manual data validation)
  • Experience cleaning or manipulating data sets for analysis
  • Intermediate AI/prompt engineering knowledge

Nice to have:

  • Experience specifically with ThoughtSpot search-driven analytics
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles for dashboards
  • Experience writing technical documentation or user guides
  • Knowledge of marketing metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS)
