Job Description:

As a key member of Citi’s Data Engineering department in the Liquidity Integration & Transformation team, this role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing Citi’s data infrastructure to support liquidity risk management, regulatory reporting, and financial forecasting. The analyst will lead various projects, ensure compliance with regulatory expectations, and deliver scalable data solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Report on risks when business decisions are made and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Analyze, filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic datasets using SQL/Python programming expertise
Build project documentation Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Architecture Flows, Test Use Cases
Contribute to technical and functional direction and strategic discussions in all development phases
Deliver meeting actions in timely manner and ensure all owners are on track
Draft architecture, strategy, planning, and problem-solving solutions on an enterprise level
Coordinate data models to be onboarded or enhanced and ensure defined standards are followed
Deliver impact analysis and coordinated UAT/PROD efforts for changes to existing systems/data flows
Implement metadata driven frameworks for data processing/transformation
Identify and apply optimization techniques to improve technology performance
Coordinate across teams, vendors and business stakeholders
Execute SQL/Python data analysis and write complex logics using analytical functions
Appropriately assess risk and demonstrate compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations

Requirements:

5+ years relevant experience in data engineering solutions for large scale initiatives and well-versed to manage large and global teams in areas related to IT Projects Design and Development
Enterprise Architecture
Data & Database Architecture
Project Management
Software Development Life Cycle
Technical: SQL, Python, Kafka, Cloud, Oracle, Hive, Impala, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio+), JIRA, Confluence
Knowledge of Capital Markets (Equities and respective Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities), Wholesale Banking, Treasury Functions, Financial Reporting, Risk Management is preferred
Knowledge of technology solutions in one or more of the functional areas is preferable – Banking or Trading Book products
Excellent written and verbal communication to various stakeholders (i.e. presentation and leadership)
Ability to prioritize important tasks and manage time efficiently to ensure timely delivery of regulatory requests
Well-versed experience in Program or Project Management
Ability to develop and foster working relationships with key Business stakeholders
Manage changing priorities under high pressure environment

Nice to have:

Knowledge of technology solutions in Banking or Trading Book products
Knowledge of Capital Markets (Equities and respective Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities), Wholesale Banking, Treasury Functions, Financial Reporting, Risk Management
