Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join the supply chain analytics team of a global retail organization. This role focuses on leveraging data to drive smarter planning, optimize operations, and improve forecast accuracy across a large and complex product portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement data-driven solutions for demand forecasting and supply planning across multiple SKUs
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights, trends, and patterns
Clean and prepare large datasets, handling missing values, outliers, and integrating external/promo variables
Build and maintain time-series models and other machine learning solutions using Python and SQL
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, operations, and commercial teams to translate business needs into data science solutions
Use version control tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket for model and code management

Requirements:

Proven hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
Strong foundation in time-series modeling, EDA, and machine learning techniques
Experience in the retail or FMCG industry
Familiarity with supply chain analytics or related domains
Proficient with code management tools like GitHub or Bitbucket
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
