A position for a Data Integration Service Manager has just arised within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe, Spain. The successful candidate will join TDDT - Data Integration. As a Data Integration Service Manager you will take responsibility to ensure the successful delivery of Data Integration Platforms operation in all areas of the company, in line with agreed Service Level Agreements, focusing on quality, time, and cost, thanks to the monitoring of the service delivery metrics such as resolution time, incident frequency, and service uptime. The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team of IT service following all the best practices recommended by ITILv4 framework. Additionally, you will guarantee that the ecosystem related to Data Integration platforms will be maintained up to date and therefore will monitor, patch and guarantee the security implementation of the company rules to safeguard our key ecosystem from potential breakdowns and/or malicious attacks. You will make the data fly inside Airbus Defence & Space and also from and to outside partners, customers or governments!
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the successful delivery of Data Integration Platforms operation in all areas of the company, in line with agreed Service Level Agreements, focusing on quality, time, and cost, thanks to the monitoring of the service delivery metrics such as resolution time, incident frequency, and service uptime
Lead a multi-disciplinary team of IT service following all the best practices recommended by ITILv4 framework
Guarantee that the ecosystem related to Data Integration platforms will be maintained up to date and therefore will monitor, patch and guarantee the security implementation of the company rules to safeguard our key ecosystem from potential breakdowns and/or malicious attacks
Data Integration Platforms licenses management (contract renewal negotiations support, monitoring, renewal of Shopping Carts in line with contractual regulations)
Data Integration Platforms SLA´s up to date in line with new projects SLRs, harmonized in all the areas
Follow up/monitor Service Delivery status per area(DIV, and 4 national) with Service Provider/s
Lead Operations Managers activities, in line with Head of Product Service Line guidance and ITIL v4 best practices
Alignment with Product Manager in Data Integration team to maintain Service Planning and potential new needs up to date
Obsolescence Project Leader for Data Integration team
Lead complex RCAs related to main Data Integration Products, with the support of impacted Operation Managers
Maintains governance and service continuity by managing service data in OneCOMPASS and ensuring disaster recovery readiness
Requirements:
University degree in IT related field
Existing Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
English negotiation level (German knowledge would be a plus)
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Over 5 years of relevant work experience as a Service Manager in IT areas of transnational companies
Extensive experience in relation to ITILv4 principles
Problem solving methodologies knowledge (PPS, 5whys, …) and person with key attention to detail
Experience leading teams in transnational environments
Experience in developing technical and support documentation, translate business requirements and needs into reporting and models
IT project management basic knowledge, waterfall and agile
Basic knowledge about Data Analytics
Nice to have:
German knowledge would be a plus
Knowledge on DevOps methods and tools (some experience would be a plus)
Basic knowledge about Data Governance and Data Lineage would be a plus
Basic knowledge in building ESB and/or ETL/ELT solutions/integrations for large scale data pipelines (on-premises) would be a plus
