Job Description:

As a Data Governance Consultant, you will play an active role in implementing data governance strategy and help clients develop data-driven cultures. Your responsibilities include defining governance processes, improving data quality, and staying updated with best practices while working collaboratively in a supportive team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Implement data governance strategy for clients
develop a data-driven culture
translate governance strategy into measurable objectives
elaborate permanent improvement policy for data quality and completeness within the organization
guide companies in establishing a conceptual framework and information model
define governance processes tailored to customers
implement data quality improvement policies and standards
keep colleagues updated with market trends and best practices

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in data management and/or data governance
excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
familiarity with data governance practices, business process modeling, data modeling and data architecture
knowledge of SQL
knowledge of at least one of Collibra, Informatica, Talend, MS Purview, IBM IGC
preferred knowledge of Qlik, Tableau, Power BI
curiosity, proactiveness and initiative-taking abilities
strong collaboration skills
good oral and written communication skills towards both technical and non-technical stakeholders
proficiency in English
knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
