Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Part Time Data Entry Specialist in Hamilton, NJ. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate data, performing quality control, and handling sensitive information. Candidates should have strong typing skills, experience with Microsoft Office, and excellent organizational abilities.

Job Responsibility:

Enter, update, and maintain accurate data into databases, spreadsheets, or content management systems
verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness
organize and manage electronic and paper files to ensure efficient information retrieval
perform quality control reviews to identify errors and inconsistencies in datasets
handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
communicate with team members or supervisors to clarify data discrepancies
generate basic reports and summaries for management as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
associate degree preferred
proven experience in data entry or related field is a plus
strong typing skills with speed and accuracy
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with data entry software
excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
ability to work independently with minimal supervision
time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines in a part-time role
