We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Clara, California. This position requires proficiency in QuickBooks and the ability to accurately manage financial data while maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will thrive in both independent and collaborative settings, ensuring data integrity and supporting team objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Enter financial transactions and other relevant data into QuickBooks with a high degree of accuracy
Review and verify data for completeness and correctness prior to and following entry
Maintain organized records and assist with general filing tasks as required
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies
Generate basic reports from QuickBooks to provide insights and updates
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies in data
Support additional administrative tasks related to data management and recordkeeping
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working with QuickBooks software
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Solid typing skills and a comfort with numeric data entry
