We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. Job Responsibility:
Scan documents and ensure they are properly digitized and stored
Confirm and update vendor terms to maintain accurate records
Verify and adjust credit limits, payment terms, and shipping hold statuses for customers
Organize and digitize employee files for streamlined access and management
Perform accurate numeric and alphanumeric data entry into designated systems
Maintain and update vendor files to ensure completeness and accuracy
Review data entries for errors and correct any discrepancies
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
Proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric data entry
Familiarity with document scanning processes and tools
Ability to maintain and update various types of files efficiently
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with data entry software
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify errors
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
