We are looking for a meticulous and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. This position involves accurately entering high volumes of donation-related data into a donor management system. You will receive thorough training and ongoing support from experienced team members to ensure success in this role.
Job Responsibility:
Input large volumes of donation data into the Raiser’s Edge donor management system from paper batch records
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while entering donor profiles and donation information
Collaborate with the Database Administrator and Chief Development Officer for training and guidance
Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and verifying entries
Follow established procedures to meet deadlines and organizational standards
Utilize computer systems and technology to efficiently manage data entry tasks
Adapt to feedback and oversight to improve performance and accuracy in data handling
Support the organization’s fundraising efforts by maintaining updated and reliable donor records
Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry, particularly within database systems
Familiarity with donor management platforms such as Raiser’s Edge is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in using computers and related technology for data entry tasks
Ability to work independently while following established procedures
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly
