Job Description:

This position plays in an essential for in SSMG profitability by taking large amounts of financial and product data and via very complex calculation and simplifying, allowing the senior team to make strategic decisions based on the results of data summarization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develops action plan to acquire, analyze and create daily dashboard information based on internal reporting
  • Develops ad hoc reporting to reflect different viewpoints and requests
  • Accountable for driving data integrity and performs “logical” review to catch errors in defined global data fields and escalates or remediates errors
  • Liaises closely with data end users throughout the local organization and with SSMG senior leaders as appropriate
  • Performs activities required to create, update or change enterprise master data
  • Occasional travel to company locations and work independently with local management and staff to map, analyze and convert data

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-4 years experience interacting and/or developing yield models, specifically related experience with data conversion and creation
  • At least 2 years’ experience with process review, design and implementation
  • 5-7 Years of progressive, relevant leadership experience
  • 1 year of field deployment experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of departmental function, terminology and interrelationships for data types
  • Meat company familiarity desired
  • Meat and protein knowledge is desired
  • Intermediate to advanced computer, analytical and data management expertise
  • High level of experience with MS Office, MDM software preferred
  • Ability to design, select and apply standard policies and procedures
  • Ability to resolve problems and questions independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with local management and staff
