Job Description:

An exciting position has arisen within our Sales Department, and we are seeking to recruit a remote Data Centre Technical Sales Manager to work within Modular Solutions Team. The ideal candidate would be able to travel to our Blackburn office on a regular basis. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to work with enthusiasm as part of a growing team. Candidates must possess the ability to manage priorities, working accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help drive forward our full product range, establish and grow our modular services division
  • Work closely with our in-house design team helping expand our knowledge of industry standards and regulations in both mechanical and electrical across EMEA
  • Help lead & drive the in-house estimating team with preparing tenders, proposals and quotations
  • Work closely with consultants in promoting our own products/services and developing long term relationship
  • Work with our supply chain to help source the right products both technically and commercially to meet the specific project requirements
  • Help providing pre-sales and post-sales support
  • Help the sales team by identifying and establishing new business within the various electrical industry sectors
  • Assist with organising sales visits to our factories for new clients
  • Assist with negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions when necessary
  • Writing reports and sales literature as and when required
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings as and when required
  • Carry out any other administration tasks as necessary or as requested by the Heads of Department
  • At all times and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company
  • To report to the Sales Director

Requirements:

  • Self-Motivated and organised
  • Experience delivering Mission Critical projects and working within the Data Centre Industry
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Proficiency in the day to day use of Microsoft based operating systems (Outlook / Word / Excel)

  • From a customer enquiry, you will design the solution and be responsible for the Bill-of-Materials (BOMs) generation process
