Job Description:

HPE Operations is our innovative IT services organization focused on digital transformation and IT service excellence. The role of Data Center Manager involves leading, managing, and ensuring operational efficiency of cloud infrastructure while collaborating with technology leaders to meet business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Overseeing and managing the operational aspects of cloud infrastructure and services
Leading a team of cloud operations engineers and administrators
Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems
Collaborating with other technology leaders to design and implement efficient cloud solutions
Driving, motivating, and elevating team performance
Effective conflict resolution, developmental feedback, and clear communication
Decision-making, negotiating, time-resource management, teamwork, and knowledge of quality processes.

Requirements:

BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc/MCA qualification or equivalent
Post-graduation in technology is preferred
ITIL certification is desirable
Proven experience (10 years) in cloud operations
Expertise in managing large-scale cloud environments
Experience of at least 3-5 years in operations and people management
At least 3 years as a core people manager
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies
Hands-on experience with cloud automation, orchestration, and configuration management tools
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, preferred).

Nice to have:

ITIL certification
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Open source experience.
