Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Cataloging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data cataloging using Informatica EDC or CDGC, and recent experience with IDMC Cloud Data Cataloging and CDQ. The candidate should be familiar with data stewardship, data quality, data dictionaries, and data lineage.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with application owners/Business Stakeholders on the application metadata onboarding process
  • Extract Metadata from Internal applications and load it into EDC/CDGC for Metadata Management purposes
  • Export the resource information from EDC and upload to perform the Data lineage, linkage, and define business glossaries
  • Create business and technical assets and configure governance roles
  • Create Custom attributes, custom lineage, and assign EDC assets
  • Create DQ dashboards and implement DQ validation rules using CDQ

Requirements:

  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with ADF
  • On-prem and cloud databases
  • Cloud Informatica configuration knowledge
  • Experience setting up Informatica environment (VM, Secure Agent, etc.)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with other DG tools, such as TIBCO EBX – MDM
  • Experience with Informatica Power Center (ETL) and IDQ
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience with Boomi or any other Enterprise service bus tool
