Job Description:

The Data & Systems Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting data accuracy, systems performance, and operational efficiency across the organization. This role focuses on gathering, reconciling, and maintaining data from third-party sales channels, online ordering systems, and delivery platforms, while also providing support for various POS, accounting, and business systems used by both clients and internal teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collect, validate, and reconcile data from third-party sales, delivery, and online ordering platforms (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats, Toast, etc.) to ensure accurate integration into accounting systems
  • Investigate and troubleshoot discrepancies, data flow issues, and system syncing errors across multiple platforms
  • Support clients and internal teams in resolving issues with POS, accounting, and other connected systems
  • Collaborate with accounting, IT, and operations teams to maintain reliable data processes and improve system integrations
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and systems, including setup, data mapping, and verification of integrations
  • Create and maintain documentation for workflows, troubleshooting steps, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards for data reconciliation and performance tracking
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline manual data or reporting processes

Requirements:

  • Fast learner who can quickly adapt to new systems and processes
  • Strong ability to analyze, investigate, and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems
  • Must be comfortable with technology and various software platforms (not required to be an IT expert)
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and how transactional data flows through accounting systems
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and team members
  • Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, formulas, pivots, lookups, etc.)
  • Experience with Restaurant365 (R365) preferred but not required
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
