Data Analytics Intmd Analyst

• SQL, Data profiling, Payment data flows and processing (messages, ISO 20022, SWIFT), Data dimensions (completeness/accuracy/timeliness), JIRA, SQL
• experience in Payments and Banking industry is an added advantage
• applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner
• employs developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information
• demonstrates attention to quality and timeliness of service to ensure the effectiveness of the team and group
• provides informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
• appropriately assess risks when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets
• ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
• escalates, manages, and reports control issues with transparency

• 4-6 years relevant experience in banking and financial services industry, preferably Payments
• experience with data management processes, tools, and applications, including data cataloging, process mapping and lineage toolsets
• knowledge of tools for statistical modeling of large data sets
• ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques
• demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
