Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and optimizing pricing data, analyzing trends, and ensuring accurate alignment of supplier information within internal systems. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to business efficiency through data-driven insights and advanced analysis.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and manage accurate pricing data within internal systems
Align supplier-provided data with internal item master information
Develop and update pricing sheets to reflect changes from suppliers
Analyze pricing information to identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimization
Provide cross-functional teams with ad-hoc data analyses and reporting
Update and maintain online and internal content
Leverage system capabilities to enhance pricing efficiency and streamline operations
Prepare detailed financial, inventory, and customer/product history reports
Utilize statistical methods and advanced Excel techniques to support data-driven business decisions

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and ability to write and optimize SQL queries
Strong skills in data analysis and use of database objects
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including statistical and analytical functions
Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Effective communication skills to present analytical findings clearly and concisely
