Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Binghamton, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and processing orders with precision and professionalism. Job Responsibility:

Deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate assistance to customers, contractors, and team members
Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, utilizing effective problem-solving and de-escalation techniques
Educate customers on product features, benefits, and terminology to enhance satisfaction and drive sales
Process orders, quotations, and tickets using designated software systems while ensuring accuracy
Provide timely updates on product availability, delivery schedules, and shipment details
Recommend alternative products based on specifications, cost, or availability to meet customer needs
Support co-workers in troubleshooting and answering unresolved questions
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and cross-train colleagues on various tasks
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements while maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Monitor shipment schedules to guarantee timely deliveries and expedite orders when necessary

Requirements:

Proven experience in customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle inquiries and complaints with professionalism and patience
Familiarity with order processing systems and software tools
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
