Job Description:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for our location in Manassas, Virginia. This role will be based in the payment processing department of our organization, working on-site from Monday to Friday. The position offers a contract employment opportunity and involves a variety of tasks centered around customer service, collections, and data entry.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
Process customer credit applications with precision
Update and maintain accurate customer credit records
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions
Follow up with customers regarding past due payments through phone calls and emails
Send reminders to customers about delinquent payments via email, voicemail, and mail
Perform data entry tasks to update customer accounts
Collaborate with the mortgage division, applying prior collections or banking experience as needed
Handle multiple phone calls in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Utilize Office suite effectively and demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes and systems

Requirements:

Minimum of 2+ year experience in a customer service role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress
Proficiency in Office software is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Demonstrated ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively
High school diploma or equivalent is required
a degree in a related field is advantageous
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Must have your own transportation
