Job Description:

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Clifton Park, New York. This Contract to permanent position requires an individual who is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to customers while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our community. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to resolving customer inquiries efficiently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Respond to customer calls promptly to process requests for new services, service changes, or cancellations
  • Manage payment transactions, investigate billing concerns, and update customer account details accurately
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to identify service needs, address concerns, and provide cost-effective and environmentally responsible solutions
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and ensure data accuracy in the system
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with clarity and helpful communication
  • Assist in resolving complaints or service issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to perform administrative tasks and support customer service operations
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding service changes or inquiries
  • Work effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining a focus on quality service
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures when handling customer accounts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume customer service roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively
  • Experience with order entry and managing customer accounts
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers to resolve issues
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail in handling customer data
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
