Carbiz is on the lookout for a personable, self-organised individual with experience in face-to-face or phone-based customer service or sales to join our growing Warranty team! Carbiz is looking for a Customer Service Representative to manage vehicle hires and client onboarding. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in coordinating hires and returns for our dealership partners and customers while ensuring a seamless experience. In this role, you will also collaborate with internal teams, dealerships, and partners to support fleet operations and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the onboarding of clients for vehicle hires, ensuring that cars are delivered in a timely manner and that customers have all necessary information
Coordinate with fleet teams and sales managers to manage vehicle availability, returns, and client requests, ensuring efficient use of resources
Act as the main point of contact for dealerships and service managers, handling requests and ensuring vehicles meet customer needs
Stay organised and manage multiple priorities, ensuring timely responses to customer and dealership inquiries
Oversee vehicle returns, ensuring they are managed smoothly and in accordance with company policies
Ensure vehicles are delivered within agreed SLAs and manage cross-hired vehicles as needed
Regularly follow up with dealerships to ensure invoices are paid within timeframe
Requirements:
Prior experience in phone-based customer service or sales is preferred but not essential
Experience in automotive, car rental, or credit hire industries is highly desirable but not essential
Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy
Excellent organisational skills and capable of handling multiple tasks effectively
Confident communicator, able to work with internal teams, dealerships, and customers, maintaining a high standard of service
