We are looking for a passionate Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. As part of a mission-driven organization in the non-profit sector, you will play a vital role in connecting individuals to essential resources and services through our call center. Job Responsibility:
Respond to inbound calls and inquiries, providing accurate information, referrals, or assistance that meets client needs
document all interactions and communications promptly and accurately in web-based systems
stay informed about available services, resources, and organizational updates to deliver high-quality support
collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure seamless client service and problem resolution
uphold exceptional customer service standards in every interaction, including phone calls, chats, and written communication
utilize various software tools such as CRM platforms, Epic Software, and Avaya CMS to manage client interactions effectively
assist customers with billing inquiries, benefit functions, and other service-related needs
handle sensitive information with professionalism and maintain confidentiality at all times
contribute to process improvements and suggest solutions to enhance the client experience
Requirements:
Associate’s degree or higher preferred
relevant experience combined with education beyond high school will be considered
minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment
background in public health, social work, psychology, sociology, criminology, or related social sciences is highly desirable
strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients
proficiency in web-based systems, chat platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
familiarity with tools such as ADP Financial Services, CRM systems, and Epic Software
bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting
