Our nonprofit client in San Diego, CA is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist who shares their commitment to improving lives and making an impact in the local community. This role offers the opportunity to support a meaningful cause, use your customer service expertise, and grow professionally in a mission-driven organization. Job Responsibility:
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Deliver exemplary customer service by addressing concerns, providing solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction
Cultivate positive relationships with clients by representing the organization's caring values and mission
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in CRM software
Proactively identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and work with internal teams to implement those changes
Educate clients about the nonprofit’s services, initiatives, and programs to enhance engagement
Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize tasks while meeting service expectations
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years experience in a customer service role, ideally within nonprofit, healthcare, or community-focused organizations
High school diploma or equivalent required
college degree or coursework in customer service, communications, or related fields preferred
Proficiency in CRM software usage and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) is a plus
Strong listening skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solution-oriented approach. Empathy and adaptability are critical in this role
Ability to work on-site initially, with eligibility for a hybrid work model after six months of proven performance
Nice to have:
Proficiency in CRM software usage and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) is a plus
