Job Description:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Marriott International offers inclusive opportunities for career growth.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
test foods for proper cooking
operate kitchen appliances like ovens, stoves, and microwaves
monitor food quality during preparation
set up and break down work stations
clean and disinfect kitchen areas and tools
report unsafe work conditions
adhere to safety training and certifications.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
adherence to company safety and security policies
ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
clear and professional communication skills.
