Job Responsibility:
Lead the preparation of high-end seasonal meals with a focus on fresh ingredients and fine-dining presentation
Rigorously execute menus for students with complex dietary needs including gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options with 100 percent accuracy
Collaborate with the Chef to develop innovative menus that reflect the community's standards
Ensure allergen management and strict adherence to dietary restrictions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
Participate in annual mandated reporter and professional boundary training
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of relevant culinary experience
Valid Serv-Safe Manager Certification
Compliance with California SB 848 background checks
Ability to undergo mandated reporter training annually
Physical capability to handle kitchen duties
Strong attention to detail
Commitment to food safety and nutrition standards
Experience of 10 plus years in upscale dining or high-end institutional settings
Current Serv-Safe Manager Certification
Knowledge of allergen management
Ability to prepare gourmet meals with fine-dining presentation
Strong teamwork and communication skills
