Job Description:

The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Culinary Logistics Assistant, who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. This position reports to the Chief Butcher.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct quality checks on all incoming food deliveries
  • Receive, inspect, and store all food related deliveries, ensuring compliance with HACCP and Four Seasons’ food safety standards
  • Verify temperature, packaging integrity, and product freshness
  • Verify weights, cuts, grades, and product specifications of incoming food deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared walk-in fridges, freezers, and storeroom
  • Organization & segregation of products for delivery to each outlet

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate
  • Prior Experience in a Hotel Receiving Dept or High-Volume Kitchen preferred
  • Receiving Clerk experience or formal Culinary Training is highly desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and specialty products
  • Knowledge of Weights, Cut, Grade, and Freshness Indicators
  • Knowledge of Purchase Order Specifications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with HACCP and other food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
  • Ability to work in cold or warm environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and Problem Solving skills
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Strong relationship-building skills, especially in managing cross-departmental collaboration and working with suppliers
  • Ability to work in and support teams
  • Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea
