The Culinary Director is the leading point of contact for all aspects of the BOH operation. You will be focused on elevating every element of their culinary offerings, with a continual focus on innovation and quality.
Job Responsibility:
Bring a Michelin level of detail to all culinary development, no matter the industry segment
Drive menu development and execution
Train, develop and mentor your team
Ensure the maintenance of the highest level of food hygiene throughout every business
Develop and execute a concise strategy in relation to ‘all things culinary’
Drive and maintain highly organised, motivated and effective kitchen teams
Requirements:
Have extensive experience in building culinary strategy
Have previous ‘board level’ experience
Be highly organised and show great attention to detail in everything you do
Have extensive experience in new concept development within restaurants
Come from a Michelin background in your early to mid career
Have a high level of ability in a broad range of culinary styles
You will remain calm and in control even in the most high pressure situations
You will develop and manage an innovative menu development team
Have a professional background, and personality, that commands respect from day 1
