As part of its expansion, the firm is now seeking a talented Criminal & Regulatory Solicitor to join its well-established team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified solicitor with experience in both criminal defence and regulatory law to join a dynamic and supportive department.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a mixed caseload of criminal defence and regulatory matters, including advocacy and advisory work
Represent clients in Magistrates' and Crown Court proceedings, as well as before regulatory and disciplinary tribunals
Prepare case strategies, review and assess evidence, and draft legal documents
Provide clear, practical legal advice in sensitive and high-pressure situations
Ensure high standards of client care and legal service delivery
Attend court hearings, police stations, and regulatory interviews as needed
Work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales with solid experience in criminal defence and regulatory law
Strong court advocacy skills and confident communication abilities
A high level of professionalism, sound legal judgment, and a proactive attitude
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A client-centred approach and a strong commitment to ethical legal practice
The flexibility to attend court, regulatory hearings, or client sites when necessary
