Job Description:

Creative Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs through creative and expressive approaches in an inclusive school environment in Tower Hamlets.

Job Responsibility:

Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
Use creative tools and strategies to aid communication, focus, and emotional regulation
Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and therapists in a collaborative setting
Support through art, drama, music, storytelling, and other expressive approaches

Requirements:

Recent graduate (any discipline)
Creative mindset
Passion for inclusion
Open-minded and empathetic
Positive energy
Interest in education, child development, psychology, or creative therapies
Confident communicator
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Adaptable and proactive
Eager to learn
Committed to making a tangible impact

Nice to have:

Background in arts, humanities, psychology, or education
Experience with creative tools and strategies
Interest in becoming a teacher, therapist, or SEND specialist
