Job Description:

The Control & Enterprise Programs Office Tech within CAO (Chief Administrative Office) Technology is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to help in supporting the buildout of modern Technology solutions that enable critical Enterprise initiatives related to Global Privacy and Conflicts of Interest Monitoring. While both building new and supporting existing Technology Applications, you’ll act as a strong individual contributor on a team developing scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot while also creating intuitive UI experiences in modern UI frameworks like Angular or React. This role involves building new capabilities for workflow & alerting, integrating with upstream systems, and contributing to a modernized Privacy and Enterprise Programs Office Technology ecosystem that drives improved automation, compliance, and real time visibility across Wells Fargo for these key Horizontal functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Java experience
  • 3+ Years of Angular and/or React
  • 4+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 3+ years of Hibernate experience
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 4+ Database technologies such as SQL Server or MongoDB
