Job Responsibility:
Develop strategies, action plans, and associated budgets to achieve growth objectives
Drive business development within the country, aligning with company strategies
Manage organizational arrangements, systems, and processes to ensure efficient and effective resource deployment, supporting overall development
Implement approved budgets and plans
Enforce ABL’s group policies and procedures throughout the business
Produce consultancy/engineering deliverables for discrete assignments or support projects delivered to clients
Collaborate with existing teams in other regions to market services jointly, share resources, and maximize cross-selling opportunities
Oversee recruitment in line with the agreed ABL recruitment plan, coordinating with the HR Manager as part of the financial budgets
Maintain close control and management of sub-contractor qualifications, quality, costs, and performance
Oversee overall management of the region’s business unit, ensuring progressive turnover, acceptable profit margins, and maintaining good cost control and cash recovery
Establish and maintain strong client relationships with regular contact and checks on satisfaction regarding service provision and delivery expectations
Lead, manage, and direct all personnel, including FTEs and sub-contractors within the country’s team
Ensure strict adherence to ABL HSEQ procedures and systems for all personnel
Develop and motivate the country’s team, fostering high cooperation with other senior managers
Develop and achieve collective goals (including regional goals) with fellow senior managers and regional support functions
Contribute to the development and delivery of accurate progress and financial reports to ABL Management
Facilitate the internal audit process and implement ensuing action plans
Ensure full and accurate understanding of contract pricing mechanisms
Collaborate closely with other Country Managers, Directors, and Senior staff to ensure technical compliance and transfer lessons learned from previous projects across the network to major projects
Develop, gain authorization for, and execute a national-specific sales and marketing plan to achieve agreed revenue and profit objectives
Provide dedicated, visible leadership and demonstrate your commitment to QHSE through active consultation and involvement
Accountable for all the Quality & HSE aspects within the company / business segment and shall promote QHSE related activities within all operations

Requirements:
Engineering relevant degree, or equivalent with significant site related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Fully conversant with renewables, marine and engineering consultancy to the energy markets
At least 10 years relevant professional experience within the Renewables, Marine, or Offshore Industry with at least 5 years hands-on as tow master, marine representative or equivalent experience
Experience in executing mid to large scale executive business plans and project development
Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
Project orientated with a keen interest in offshore engineering and marine management
Will have relevant offshore industry experience
Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and appropriate professional image
Well organized and self-directed individual with strong business/commercial skills
Outgoing and pragmatic with strength of character, proactive and insightful with good man management skills
Team player with excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
Previous management experience from similar role
Chartered status
Exposure to pilotage, vessel inspections and/or warranty surveys
Full technical understanding of the marine and engineering consultancy business, including adjusting, ideally within an operational management role
