Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a CostPoint System Administrator to support and maintain our ERP environment, ensuring efficient and secure operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in administering Deltek CostPoint and associated modules, have strong coordination skills with both internal IT teams and external vendors, and bring experience from a complex manufacturing environment-preferably in aerospace or defense. This is an onsite role at our El Segundo, California.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and support the Deltek Costpoint ERP system, including configuration, user management, and troubleshooting
  • Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and Deltek support teams to resolve technical issues and deploy enhancements
  • Lead or support ERP-related projects including system enhancements, module implementations, and data migrations
  • Coordinate with internal IT departments and external vendors on upgrades, patches, data integrations, and infrastructure changes
  • Maintain and optimize related systems, such as Time & Expense, Cognos, and business intelligence tools
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, system configurations, and user guides
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline business processes and improve ERP utilization
  • Ensure ERP system controls and security settings align with compliance standards (e.g., SOX, DCAA, FAR)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience administering Deltek Costpoint ERP in a production environment
  • Proven experience coordinating with internal IT and external ERP vendors to support technical operations and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and support Cognos reports or other Costpoint-compatible BI tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a discrete manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry
  • Familiarity with government contracting requirements and compliance (e.g., DCAA, DFARS)
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Time & Expense, Cognos Analytics, and SQL-based data systems
  • Experience supporting enterprise system integrations with tools like SharePoint, PLM, or MES systems
